Li Yu is a Chinese artist based in London and Beijing. Her multidisciplinary practice includes elements of performance, concrete poetry, video and sound within immersive sculptural installations. She seeks to critique social structures and explore themes related power, linguistics and to the complexities of the idea of common knowledge. Her works have been exhibited at: CAFA Art Museum, Beijing (The Great of Sculpture -- 90 Years of Central Academy of Fine Arts),Ruthin International Arts Festival, Ruthin. Guardian Art Centre, Beijing (Art Nova100), AMP Gallery, London and Christie's, London (Christie’s Lates).
